Biography: Theodore Meyer and Anna Mersman Meyer came to Glandorf, Ohio in 1834. They cleared the land on Cranberry Creek southwest of Ottawa, Ohio. According to family tradition, Theodore Meyer worked on the Lake Erie/Ohio River canal. A farmer, an iceman and an implements dealer. Owned a sawmill. At one time owned three hundred and seventy five acres in Putnam County located along the Blanchard River southwest of Ottawa, Ohio. Owned a threshing machine and conducted threshing operations in that area.13
