A native of Piqua, 0., he was born January 28, 1888, the son of the late Constant and Philomena Besanceney. He married Veronica Foos in Bowling Green, June 29, 1910 in St. Aloysius church.
Surviving are the widow; daughters, Mrs. W. J. (Mildred) Koch, and Mrs. H. J. (Dorothy) Kledzik, both of Fremont; a son, the Rev. Paul Besanceney, S. J., Ann Arbor, Mich; nine grandchildren; a brother, Henry, and sisters, the Misses Mary and Minnie Besanceney, all of Piqua.
Four brothers, a son Don who died in 1958 and a son, who died in infancy preceded him in death."
