Pendleton, later Grant, County Kentucky census of 1800.4 He appears on the census of 1810; One man and one woman over 45; one man 26 - 45; three boys 16 -26, two boys 10 -16, one boy under 10.5 He and Robert Childers Jr are is found on the Tax List of between 1821 and 1829 at in Grant, Kentucky, USA.6 On Saturday, 22 June 1822, Robert Childers married Nancy Coleman.1 Robert Childers recorded a deed in 1822 in Grant, Kentucky, USA. Robert's ten children are named in a deed he registered in Grant County, Kentucky 1822, wherein he gave, or sold for $1.00, his estate to his children, thus ensuring that his property would go to his children and not be a part of the estate of his second wife. On this deed he spelled the name Childres. He died in 1837.

Daniel McClain is listed with the following household: One man and one woman age 26 to 44; and 2 boys, one under 10 and one age 10 - 15, and 6 girls 3 under age 10, 1 age 10 - 15, one age 16 - 20..5 He appears on the census of 1830; Daniel McClain is listed with the following household: Male and female ages 50 - 60 and one boy age 10 - 15, three girls ages 5 -10, 10 - 15, 15 - 20; no slaves.6 On 16 March 1837 Daniel McClainmoved to Lewis, Missouri, USA.
