On Thursday, 20 March 1806, William "Hatter" Childers married Elisabeth Taylor, daughter of Robert Taylor. Circa 1810 William "Hatter" Childers lived; He owned land on the Grassy Creek watershed next to his father. He appears on the census of 1850; 4 slaves; all females, ages 26, 9, 6,and 1.      Elizabeth Richardson was born circa 1785. On Thursday, 3 April 1800, Elizabeth Richardson married Solomon Childers, son of Henry Childers and Susanna Goolsby.¹

     Elisabeth Taylor was born in 1785. On a ship at sea. She was the daughter of Robert Taylor. On Thursday, 20 March 1806, Elisabeth Taylor married William "Hatter" Childers, son of Robert Childers and Nancy Pryor. Elisabeth Taylor died on 15 April 1853. Childers, Elizabeth age 67 years, 1 month; wife of W. H. Childers; parents, Robert & Betsy Taylor; place of birth, 'on the Atlantic Ocean'; cause, Palsy. April 15, 1853.¹

     Joseph Childers was born in 1785. He was the son of Robert Childers and Nancy Pryor. Joseph Childers was in military service in 1812. War of 1812. Circa 1815, Joseph Childers married Mary J Landrum, daughter of John Landrum and Mary Collins. Joseph Childers was buried in 1833 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA. He died in 1833. Cholera on trip to New Orleans.

     Susannah Higgins was born on 7 March 1785. On Friday, 21 October 1808, at age 23, Susannah Higgins married Benjamin Vanhook, age 37. Susannah Higgins was listed as Benjamin Vanhook's wife on the Census of 17 September 1850.¹ Susannah Higgins died on 7 June 1860 at age 75.

On Saturday, 14 January 1809, at age 23, Catherine Kayser married John Ernsdorff, son of Nicolas Ernsdorff and Anne Marie Hilger.¹ Catherine Kayser died on 7 April 1844 in Rammeldange, Luxembourg-Campagne, Luxemburg at age 58.¹

      John Pryor Childers was employed as a farmer, but also served as county coroner. He was born on 4 March 1787. He was the son of Robert Childers and Nancy Pryor. On Wednesday, 8 August 1810, at age 23, John Pryor Childers married Catherine Ament, age 23, daughter of Phillip Ament and Maria Elizabeth Schmidt. In 1815 John Pryor Childers lived; four miles from Falmouth on Short Creek Bottom. On Friday, 29 August 1834, at age 47, John Pryor Childers married Eliza Asberry. In 1850 the Census listed John Pryor Childers as the head of a family. 16 slaves, 3 adult females and the remainder children. In 1860 the Census listed John Pryor Childers as the head of a family. He died in 1870. He made a will in 1870. The widow, Eliza, refused to accept the will and administration of the estate, several granddaughters joined in the dispute, and the estate was hotly contested in the courts.

     Catherine Ament was born on 18 April 1787. She was the daughter of Phillip Ament and Maria Elizabeth Schmidt. On Wednesday, 8 August 1810, at age 23, Catherine Ament married John Pryor Childers, age 23, son of Robert Childers and Nancy Pryor. Catherine Ament died on 27 May 1834 at age 47.
