     Captain Samuel Welles was born circa 1630.¹ He was the son of Governor Thomas Welles and Alice Tomes. Before 1660 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, America, Captain Samuel Welles married Elizabeth Hollister, daughter of John Hollister and Joanna Treat. Circa 1671 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, America, Captain Samuel Welles married Hannah Lamberton.¹ Captain Samuel Welles died on 15 July 1675 in Hartford, Connecticut, America.¹

     Rebecca Beebe was baptized on 11 August 1630 in St. Andrew in Broughton, East Midlands, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Beebe and Rebecca Ladd. On Monday, 2 January 1651 in First Congregational Church in Hartford, Connecticut, America, at age 20, Rebecca Beebe married John Rusco.²

     Obadiah Miller was born in 1631.      Edward Elmer was born in 1631. He was the son of Edward Elmer and Mary (?). Edward Elmer was an heir in the will of Edward Elmer on 6 June 1676 in Windsor, Connecticut, America. Edward Elmer was a defendant in the lawsuit of Sarah Elmer and Thomas Long on 18 June 1696 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut, America. Thomas Long complains that he hath not had that part of his Estate that is due to him in right of his wife from the Estate of Edward Elmer, Decd, but hath been rejected by law of part of the Land that was laid out to him by one of the Adms. on that Estate. This Court do order that the Adms., viz., John and Edward Elmer, do lay out his Land to him the sd. Thomas Long forthwith.

On Friday, 20 October 1651 in Boston, Massachusetts, America, Elizabeth Lobdell married Deacon Jonathan Burt, age 27, son of Henry Burt and Ulalia (?).¹ Elizabeth Lobdell died on 11 November 1684 in Springfield, Massachusetts, America.

     Joanne (?) was born in 1632 in Hitcham, East, England. Circa 1640, Joanne (?) married John Carrington. "John Carrington, thou art indited by the name of John Carrington of Wethersfield, carpenter, that not having the feare of God before thine eyes thou hast Interteined ffamiliarity with Sathan the great Enemye of God and mankind and by his helpe hast done works above the course of nature for wch both according to the Law of God and the Established Law of this Commonwealth thou deservest to dye.
The Jury findes this Inditem against John Carrington the 6th of March 1650/51".
Then follows the name of his wife Joane, and the same inditement in the same words, with the same finding by the same jury. On the jury: Thomas Judd, William Lewis, Stephen Heart and Mr. Tailcoat on 6 March 1651. Joanne (?) died on 6 March 1650/51 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, America. Indicted as a witch, convicted and hung.¹

Samuel Beebe and John Beebe immigrated in April 1650 to America from England. Circa March 1651 he resided in New London, Connecticut, America.^3,2 In 1660 in New London, Connecticut, America, Samuel Beebe married Agnes Keeney, daughter of William Keeney and Agnes (?).¹ In 1664 in New London, Connecticut, America, Samuel Beebe married Mary Keeney, daughter of William Keeney and Agnes (?).^4,1 Samuel Beebe died in 1712 in Plum Island in Long Island Sound, New York, America.² He left a will on 16 April 1712 in Southold, Long Island, Suffolk, New York, America.²

     Obadiah Richards was born circa 1635. He was the son of Thomas Richards and Priscilla Wakeman. Circa 1666 in Farmington, Connecticut, America, Obadiah Richards married Hannah Andruss, daughter of John Andruss and Mary (?).¹ In May 1669 Obadiah Richards lived in Farmington, Connecticut, America; presented as a free man.² In 1672 Obadiah Richards lived in Mattatuck, Connecticut, America; Obadiah, an early settler of
Farmington; freeman, May, 1669; signed the agreement for planting Mattatuck, 1674,
and joined the settlement early.^1,2 He was listed as being in full communion with the Church in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut, America.³ Circa 1680 in Farmington, Connecticut, America, Obadiah Richards married Esther (?).¹
Around 1700, Obadiah Richards settled in the area of Upper Middlebury Road, and John Scott on Nova Scotia Hill Road. By 1710 they both had left for safer places. He was an early settler of Farmington, Connecticut. Obadiah Richards made a will on 17 May 1701 in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut, America.. His heirs were Mary Richards, Hannah Richards, Esther Richards, Elizabeth Richards, Sarah Richards, Thomas Richards, Rachel Richards, John Richards, Obadiah Richards, Benjamin Richards and Esther (?).² Obadiah Richards died on 11 November 1702 in Waterbury, Connecticut, America.² Richards, Obadiah, Waterbury. Vol. IX, Page 135-6 September, 1720: Mr. Peter Pratt of Hartford, attorney to Jabez and Sarah Waters of Lyme, Adms. on the estate of Obadiah Richards, late of Lyme, deed., one of the sons and co-heirs of Obadiah Richards, sometime of Waterbury, decd., moving this Court that the part of sd. Obadiah Richards, sometime of Lyme, deceased, in his father's homested, and his part in one lot at the upper end of Steele's Meadow, may be set out in severalty according to a former dist. of his sd. father's estate, it appears to this Court that by the sd. former dist. there was ordered to the sd. Obadiah of Lyme one-third part and 1-33 part of the homested of the sd. Obadiah of Waterbury, and 1-5 part of one lot of land at the upper end of Steele's Meadow in Waterbury. This Court appoint Lt. John Hopkins, Stephen Upson and Ensign Hickock of Waterbury to set out the lands by meets and bounds.⁴

In 1660 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, America, Jonathan Smith married Hannah Adams. On Monday, 1 January 1663 in Saybrook, Connecticut, America, Jonathan Smith married Martha Bushnell, daughter of Francis Bushnell and Mary Grombridge.¹ Jonathan Smith died after 1711 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, America.

     William Howard was born in 1635 in Ipswich, Massachusetts, America. He was the son of William Howard. In 1667 in Salem, Massachusetts, America, William Howard married Tabitha Kinsman, daughter of Robert Kinsman and Mary Boreman. William Howard died on 25 July 1709 in Ipswich, Massachusetts, America.

     Deacon John Stone was born in 1635 in Watertown, Massachusetts, America. He was the son of Deacon Simon Stone and Joan Clarke. Before 1663 in Braintree, Massachusetts, America, Deacon John Stone married Sarah Bass, daughter of Samuel Bass and Anne Savell.¹ Deacon John Stone was employed as a selectman in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts, America, in 1674, 1681 - 1687, and 1690.¹ He was employed as town clerk in 1687 and 1690 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts, America.¹ He died on 26 March 1691 in Watertown, Massachusetts, America.
