Theresa was short, round, and looked a lot like her grandmother, Lizzi. She loved to do needlework. When her sister Julie got married she embroidered all the sheets, pillowcases and table clothes. Theresa had three daughters: Anna, Mitzi, and Bozsi. The first two died in one week of scarlet fever. The following year little Bozsi died. Theresa was devastated. She always remembered the little girls as "My angels" - who never became old, were never disrespectful, never fought with each other.³
