     Alajos Heckinger was born on 29 January 1815 in Baja, Bács-Bodrog, Hungary. Aloisius Hekinger.¹ He was the son of János Heckinger and Katalin Lipoptsovits. Circa 1839 in Baja, Bács-Bodrog, Hungary, Alajos Heckinger married Anna Fidrich.

     Antal Kutka was born on 10 February 1815 in Homonna, Zemplén, Hungary. He was baptized on 10 February 1815 in Homonna, Zemplén, Hungary.¹ He was the son of Antal Kutka and Elisabeth Szenteleky. His baptism name was Antonius Josephus Emericus Kutka Jr. He had legal, agricultural and surveying degrees besides being an excellent pianist. He was a dear, polished young man with a pleasant disposition.² He married Izabella Maria Feutscher, daughter of Paul Feutscher and Anna Fobbe, in Magyaróvár, Moson, Györ-Moson-Sopron, Hungary, in 1838. Izabella met Antal at Magyaróvár.² Antal Kutka and Izabella Maria Feutscher had 7 children between 1840 and 1855. Most of the children were born in Hungary. Between 1846 and 1849 Antal Kutka was employed as Manager of Count Csáky's estate at Klukno. He had a reputation in Europe as a mapmaker.² On 5 February 1848 Antal Kutka lived in Klukno, Szépes, Hungary. While they lived there, a famous battle of the failed Hungarian revolution of 1848 happened at Branyiszko, which is nearby. They were so close to the action that they thought shells were breaking over their house.² Between 1849 and 1859 Antal Kutka lived in Löcse, Szépes, Hungary. Antal was the manager of animal husbandry and later as surveyor and (authenticating) engineer for Count Vidor Csáky.² After the death of his wife in 1873, he came to live with his daughter, Ilonka in Magyar-Izsép. Antal Kutka died in 1877 in Magyar-Izsép, Zemplén, Hungary.²

     József Pfeil was baptized on 10 February 1815 in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary.¹ He was the son of Henry Pfeil and Borbála Meisser.

     Magdalena Berecz was baptized on 23 April 1815 in Belváros Parish in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary.¹ She was the daughter of Maté Berecz and Agatha Jaksich. Magdalena Berecz died on 27 April 1815 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary, four days after she was born.¹

     Elizabeth Streb was born on 10 May 1815 in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary.¹ She was the daughter of János Streb and Anna Libert. On Tuesday, 25 April 1837 in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary, at age 21, Elizabeth Streb married Andras Szieberth, age 32, son of Adam Szieberth and Elisabeth Beck.²

     Dorothea Szieberth was born on 29 July 1815 in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary.¹ She was the daughter of Matyas Szieberth and Elizabeth Prais.

      The Schmidt family can be traced back to Wurtenburg, a town in Thuringia, Germany. According to family lore, the winter of 1720 was very hard and snowy, followed by a rainy spring. The five rivers around Wurtenburg were swollen and finally flooded. Muddy water covered the entire area causing families to flee. The Schmidt family settled in the village of Hird, Baranya County, which is located near Pecs in southern Hungary. They became millers and for many years the local mill was called Schmidt’s mill.¹ József Schmidt was born on 26 October 1815 in Hird, Baranya, Hungary.² He was the son of József Schmidt and Magdalena Fahrlender. On Thursday, 1 January 1835 in Siklós, Baranya, Hungary, at age 19, József Schmidt married Anna Katalin Herger.¹ József Schmidt died in 1848 in Siklós, Baranya, Hungary. The spring of 1848 was filled with hope, of people longing for freedom. There was a bloody and bitter uprising against the monarchy. General Jellasich tried to force the male population of southern Baranya County into his army to uphold the monarchy. Josef Schmidt felt in his heart that he was a Hungarian and did not want to fight against his motherland. Grabbing his knapsack, he escaped to his beloved vineyard in the early morning hours, thinking that they would not find him there. Jellasich’s soldiers tracked him down and broke down the door of the wine cellar where he was hiding and shot him dead. The body was found some days later and the vineyard taken from the family.¹

     Pál Gut was born on 25 January 1816 in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary.¹ He was the son of Valentine Gut and Anna Maria Heilman.

     Juliana Käsz was baptized on 2 June 1816 in Németboly, Baranya, Hungary Godparents Henry and Margaretha Werner.¹ She was the daughter of Ferenc Joseph Käsz and Anna Maria Kresz.

Teréz Berecz was baptized on 26 August 1816 in Belváros Parish in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary.¹ On Monday, 21 December 1835 in Belváros Parish in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary, at age 19, Teréz Berecz married Georg Blauhorn.¹ Between 1841 and 1885 she resided at Perczel #9, Pécs, Baranya, Hungary,.² Teréz Berecz died on 8 April 1893 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary at age 76. She was buried on 10 April 1893 in Pécs, Baranya, Hungary.³

     Lajos was born in Vezsény, Jász-Nagy-Kun-Szolnok, Hungary on 6 September 1816.¹ He was the son of János Garzó and Susanna Mehes. On Sunday, 3 May 1840 in St Joseph VIII Church in Budapest, Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kis-Kun, Hungary, at age 23, Lajos Garzó married Teréz Langer, age 22, daughter of Venczel Langer and Teréz Rozalie Posch. Married by Fr. Frank Spada. Witnesses; Jozsef Biegl and Mihaly Laczko.² Lajos died on 3 June 1893 in Budapest, Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kis-Kun, Hungary at age 76.^3,4
He worked as a engineer to regulate the rivers in Hungary. This post was one of twelve in the country. He was a Calvinist not a Catholic but wanted to the Catholic church bells to ring when he died.⁵
